We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Account Collections Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing pharmacy account collections by effectively communicating with clients and healthcare professionals. Your primary duties will include clarifying the amounts generated by insurance copays and non-covered prescriptions, educating customers about insurance limits, and negotiating payment plans to ensure timely and accurate collection of outstanding balances.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients and healthcare professionals to clarify amounts generated by insurance copays and non-covered prescriptions.
  • Educate customers about insurance limits, coverage details, and payment options.
  • Develop and implement strategies to effectively manage pharmacy account collections.
  • Negotiate payment plans with customers to ensure timely payment of outstanding balances.
  • Maintain accurate records of collections activities and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer concerns and resolve billing issues.
  • Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and reimbursement policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure a positive experience for all customers.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in pharmacy account management, collections, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance copays, coverage details, and reimbursement processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
